Return of the Prodigal



 Hello fellow humans.

It has been nearly a year since I last opened up my laptop to write something in this little blog. And what a year! In January 2020 the biggest and most heinous scam ever perpetrated on humanity began in China and quickly enveloped the entire globe. Now at the end of June 2021 all the world's politicians are still holding their citizens prisoner with a blatant psy ops campaign designed to scare people into accepting (with great relish) a particularly nasty experimental gene "therapy" that is the beginning of Trans-humanism and The Great Reset.

So, in just 18 months, the Tech and Pharma cartel that control all the world's politicians have created a totalitarian dystopia - where proclaiming to be a "natural" human with a healthy immune system is frowned upon and actively discouraged by all mainstream media outlets and the big tech social media platforms - especially Facebook and You Tube.

Animism and the Shamanic view of reality is totally at odds with this attempt by a few Billionaires to have absolute control over every man, woman, child and non human sentient being on the planet.

While we in the UK have been under house arrest and bombarded with Covid propaganda - by the way there is no Covid 19 and there never was - I have been reading a lot and expanding my knowledge base. I make a point of never watching the television "news" (propaganda) or reading the mainstream press. Twitter has a fairly healthy anti vaccine, anti fascism community - so I know I am not alone in my point of view. You can find me @DermotMurray8 .   Apart from reading the REAL science pertaining to the fake "pandemic" and hunting down articles by scientists and doctors who have been censored for daring to tell the truth - all these brave people have lost their jobs - I have also been exploring the similarities between a group of spiritual disciplines that appear to be very different from each other.

Yoga sprang from the Veda of ancient India, Qigong and Neigong sprang from Taoism in ancient China and the phenomenon of Astral Travel, Out of Body Experiences and Near Death Experiences  began with Spiritualism and have since been studied more scientifically in the 20th and 21st century. They are all actually describing the same states of consciousness as the much older spiritual system of Shamanism.

I have also revisited the wonderful works of Carlos Castaneda and gleaned more shamanic truth where before I was blinded by my own ignorance. So now I plan to share things here on this blog again for a while and I hope a few people will enjoy my ramblings.

The Last Post

This is the last post on this blog. I have spent over 5 years looking into what has become a "trendy" spiritual path for the unenlightened and curious. Although this is the "last post", I will be updating and adding stuff from time to time. As I have said elsewhere - no urban Westerner is ever going to become a Shaman (unless you get as lucky as Carlos Castaneda). Despite many "experts" criticism of Castaneda, I cannot recommend his books enough - to me, they are essential reading. The past 5 years of exploration have not changed my view on that. I have found that certain people have lied about their qualifications and abilities regarding the Shamanic Path in order to relieve gullible folks of their hard earned cash. I know everybody has to earn a living in this crazy materialistic world we live in but I believe that REAL spiritual teachings should be given freely if the student is sincere - as with Castaneda and Don Juan Matus. Finding My Power Animal

This is a record of my 4th or 5th shamanic journey. It is the second journey that I recorded in my journal. My journeys these days are less formalised and I tend to know where I am going - but these were early days. All I had to guide me were the (very good) instructions in Paul Francis ' book "The Shamanic Journey". I shall write exactly what I wrote down in my journal after the journey. This was written originally on October 1st 2018 at 7 am. I started to play a 30 minute drumming track. I set my intention to find my Power Animal by asking the "Great Spirit" to help me find my Power Animal on this journey. I left my body dressed in my monks habit with a hood. I seem to always don this garb when journeying (Note :- I no longer do this. My attire changes according to the nature of the journey). Stone Age, New Age or Virtual Reality Simulation?

 Here's the thing - "Shamanism" is just one word but it can mean all kinds of different things to different people. I have just started doing the First Steps course with Paul Francis and the Three Ravens College of Therapeutic Shamanism - more as a refresher for myself than an attempt to learn something new. (I have read all Pauls' books, so I am very familiar with his take on Core Shamanism). Paul is a great teacher but there is one thing he is very dogmatic about (an unshamanic trait) and that is his insistence that the "Lower World" is a pristine environment as would have been experienced by hunter gatherer humans living in what we call the "Stone Age". I am not saying he is wrong but this is not a universal belief among shamanic people.
