    This is great track I found on YouTube for meditation and ceremonial work. In my next post I will be discussing the importance of meditation in Shamanic work. To be a successful shamanic person you will need to, as Don Juan tell Carlos Castaneda, "stop the internal dialogue". Zen masters call this taming the monkey mind. Paul Francis calls it "hollowing out". The fact is, you have to leave the every day world of human behaviour behind if you are to experience a state of Non Ordinary Reality.

This is the last post on this blog. I have spent over 7 years looking into what has become a "trendy" spiritual path for the unenlightened and curious. Although this is the "last post", I have been updating and adding stuff from time to time. Moving On

It has a been a while since my last post (October 2021) and the reason for this is that I have been experimenting with a new (to me) form of Shamanic practice known as The Lyceum (previously known as The Way of The Bee). This is very different to "Core Shamanism". I discovered a wonderful teacher who is English but based in France called Sarita Cameron - she is known online as Sarita Sol. Sarita was trained in the gynacentric shamanic practises of The Lyceum while with The Sacred Trust in Devon UK. She has her own website - SolHenge Sarita also teaches what she calls Quantum Meditation which takes you deep into the true nature of Your Self. I have been using these meditations which are freely available on YouTube and can absolutely recommend them. (Google and YouTube regularly delete Saritas' work because she exposes their nefarious AI agenda). Finding My Power Animal

This is a record of my 4th or 5th shamanic journey. It is the second journey that I recorded in my journal. My journeys these days are less formalised and I tend to know where I am going - but these were early days. All I had to guide me were the (very good) instructions in Paul Francis ' book "The Shamanic Journey". I shall write exactly what I wrote down in my journal after the journey. This was written originally on October 1st 2018 at 7 am. I started to play a 30 minute drumming track. I set my intention to find my Power Animal by asking the "Great Spirit" to help me find my Power Animal on this journey. I left my body dressed in my monks habit with a hood. I seem to always don this garb when journeying (Note :- I no longer do this. My attire changes according to the nature of the journey).
